Have you wondered how's life without sports?
Nerds who study everyday would think that sports make no difference.
Their daily routine : Study, study and study.
Sports are everything to me. I played basketball and badminton since primary school. When I entered secondary school, I played soccer and bowling.
But now, my life sucks. I can't go for any sports now. Want to know why?
FISSURING, a condition whereby the cartilage at the patella (kneecap) has became rough. Thus, there will be a 'crackling' sound and feeling when it's touched.
I did X-ray and MRI in Puteri Specialist last year. Mr Lim Choh Kheong said that everything in my patella looked fine and in good condition but the sound can't be eliminated. So, he asked me to train up my quadrisep muscle for both legs to lessen the pressure exerted on both knees. He also restricted me from having sports for 2 LONG months.
Yesterday, I had an appointment with him and he said the 'crackling sound' is still the same (terrible). He asked me to continue the quadrisep muscle exercise and restricted me from having sports, including bowling.
At first, I thought that I was able to play bowling since it didn't affect much on my knees. But, he still doesn't allow me to have any sports. Damn.
Every PJ lesson, I ain't able to join my friends for soccer. Hence, I went to the school's mini gym and trained up my muscles. Boring.
So you see, I'm not in a good mood at times. Forgive me if I accidentally offend you. Hope you wouldn't see me on wheelchair next time. Pray for me. Thanks.
